Whipple’s Castle – Thomas Williams (Published: 1968)

Set in New Hampshire, this is a fictional story of the Whipple family living through their struggles and worries of a small-town life. Although the story is slow-paced, readers will find themselves deeply attached to the characters and experience their lives through this fictional drama set in the 1940s.
